A visit from a Member of Parliament

The whole school welcomed a visitor today. Rebecca Kilby Smith , an education officer from the Houses of Parliament.  Rebecca delivered an assembly explaining to the children how the Houses of Parliament work. The children really enjoyed her presentation and had all learnt something new by the end of her talk.

After her visit, the children then elected who they would like to be on this year’s School Parliament.
